Make Time for Exercise

I realized that when we are busy the easiest thing to let go of is ourselves. We set ourselves aside in order to accommodate other things that demand our time.

But when we do this, when we reschedule our schedule with ourselves,  we  find ourselves exhausted and tired, cranky and with no energy left to give.

There is wisdom in taking care of one’s self. In loving yourself in a healthy way, you have more of your self to give to others.

Dear friend, can we both make time for exercise this week? Find time to strengthen our bodies for the hard work it needs to do. When you find time for exercise, you’ll find that you’ll last longer than you used to before. You’ll have more energy for the things you need to accomplish.

Don’t say you don’t have time. Make time. I found that it is best to incorporate exercise into your lifestyle. Park farther from your office so you can walk. If you’re commuting, get off your ride early and walk. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. These are easy things we can do.

When you’re ready, find a sport you love like swimming, badminton, cycling, yoga or running. Do it alone or do it with a group, just as long as you do it!

I realized that the simplest solutions to taking back our health are not found in big bold actions, but in small, repeated, consistent steps — one foot over the other.

Let’s go back to to the basics — eat healthy, choose food that’s healthy for your heart, make time for exercise and sleep right.

I wish you good health so you can love more!

Ready to get back on track? Schedule exercise this week. It will do you good. 🙂 Love yourself!
